Bees are such an important part of our environment - keeping everything pollenated and all the plants in the world growing, who would not love to have a bee hanging in their window?
What better than to show your support by having your very own bee on honeycomb hanging in your window.
This suncatcher has been made by using 5 types of amber stained glass. Each piece of glass has been hand cut, ground, foiled and soldered together before being washed and polished. the glass used for the been is yellow textured glass and clear florentine glass for the wings. A patina has been applied to the stripes to make them black. A ring and a length of fishing line has been attached for hanging purposes. This measures 15.5cms x 14cms.
This would make a great gift for anyone who is interested in the garden, bee and bee keeping.
I will send one good quality window hook with the suncatcher so you can hang it in your window s soon as received.
