Full description

I have used heat to create interesting shades of red, deep red copper and purple with an interesting and unique texture on a 20 mm wide triangle of copper. .

I like to contrast the colours and textures of a piece of jewellery , so I have hung them from a roughly square piece of brass , which has a contrasting matt , frosted , flat surface They are attached with a chunky copper jump ring , which I have also treated with heat to produce luscious red tones. These colours look more vibrant in the light and I have protected them with a penetrating wax coating. The red tones will be retained unlike untreated copper which soon tarnishes.

Total dangle is 30mm/1.25 inches.

Fastened to the ear with a stud fastening ; the earpost and scroll back are both sterling silver and the brass square sits neatly on the earlobe.

Posted first class in a cardboard gift box and tied with ribbon ready to give .
