Jo created the original, handmade pheasant design from her studio in the heart of the Staffordshire countryside. It was created using free motion embroidery, an exciting technique where she uses the sewing machine to 'draw' the details of the wildlife onto the fabric.

This lampshade is an excellent reproduction of the original embroidery, and produces a gorgeous, warm glow for any room in the house.

Handmade by Jo Hill in the UK.

There are six sizes to choose from:

Small: 20cm (diameter) x 20cm

Medium: 30cm (diameter) x 25cm

Large: 40cm (diameter) x 30cm

Tall: 15cm (diameter) x 30cm

Small oval: 20cm (diameter) x 20cm

Medium oval: 30cm (diameter) x 25cm

These lampshades are for bases but please let me know if you prefer a ceiling shade.

The design is a high-quality print on cotton of Jo's original Pheasant design in stunning reds, blues and purple on a sand coloured background.

The fine, delicate stitching is reproduced in detail and these lampshades are proudly made in the UK, along with all of Jo's Homeware and Original Textiles.

Conforms to BS EN 60598-1-2008, the British Standard for Luminaries. All of the lampshades I sell are fire resistant. The PVC material has been tested in the Lighting Association Laboratories and has passed the glow wire test.

Additional terms

Please note that I am happy to ship worldwide but due to the size and the fragile nature of the lampshades, it's better that all medium and large lampshades be sent on a tracked service. Alternatively for cheaper international shipping you could have it flat-packed. You will receive the fabric attached to the PVC, with the rings and sticky tape separately. Full instructions with photographs will be provided for you to make up the lampshade. For UK delivery you will receive the lampshade made up in full.

Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
