I'm delighted to be taking part in this year's Folksy Christmas market in association with Pedddle on the 5th and 6th of December.
!!Please note that this year's last postal date for 2nd class post is Friday 18th December!!
This is an envelope style cushion cover inspired by ganseys and vintage aran patterns. The diamonds represent the “drystane dykes” (dry stone walls) which divides fields all over the north east of Scotland. Worked flat and folded over, it needs 3 buttons to finish.
Recommended materials (not included):
200g aran weight yarn,
4.5mm knitting needles,
12" square cushion pad,
3 x 30mm buttons,
The pattern will be emailed to you within 24 hours of purchase.
Influenced by the gansey knitting of my Granny, I wanted to create a design which connected with my heritage but was also easy to achieve.
