These lavender hearts are inspired by my growing collection of Cornishware pottery. The iconic stripes, reminiscent of blue skies and white-capped waves, somehow manage to be reassuringly traditional and also strikingly contemporary. I wanted to translate that into my own home textiles and to create a decoration that perfectly complemented the contents of my kitchen dresser shelves.

Full description
These sweet little lavender hearts are handmade in my summerhouse studio in Hampshire.
Generously filled with fragrant locally grown Hampshire lavender, the hearts are hand-finished with a rustic wooden button and the hanging loop is made of natural hemp twine.
Add a touch of country style to your kitchen, sitting-room or bedroom by hanging a heart from
a hook, window latch or cupboard doorknob. Lavender also helps to deter moths in wardrobes and drawers - if you can bear to tuck your heart away!
