The challenge of designing and making a silver ring with a Wood Inlay was too great to resist. It took a number of tries to get it right and is quite a complex process. The setting of a stone within the Wood Inlay was a finishing design idea which I think completes this ring and makes it an unusual addition to any jewellery collection.

American Black Walnut Inlay Sterling Silver Satin finish Ring Tube Set with One 3mm Genuine Purple Amethyst Gemstone and 2 x 3mm White Cz’s in Sterling Silver Tube Settings. At 8mm wide this beautifully hand crafted 2mm thick Sterling Silver Ring is suitable as a ring for men or ladies. The wood elements are set with resin and sealed with three coats of Birchwood Casey Gunstock Oil, making for a light waterproof finish (though not recommended for a soak in the bath for example). Due to the method of construction it is not possible to resize this ring which is a Size Q UK (Size 8 US).
