The first Teardrop Pendants I made at a Kelandy Designs had a Sterling Silver back and were filled with resin and shell. Following a few requests for memorial style pendants with ashes or hair I developed the ‘open-back’ Style allowing both the front and the back to be finished in a different way. The finish of the shell alone on the reverse provides an alternative to the front of the pendant and a suitable method was found to achieve it well.

Made in Sterling Silver, this handcrafted Yellow and Black Shell Teardrop Necklace hangs beautifully on a sterling silver Bail from a Sterling Chain. The Shell is encased in jewellery grade resin and finished to a high polish which will attract attention just by being worn. This pendant can be set to the reverse with Memorial ashes (as in picture 4) to provide a beautiful subtle commemorative piece. (Please ask for further details). The size of the Teardrop is 40mm x19mm.
