I had previously set a number of Opals which are reputed to be challenging due to their fragility and brittleness. Paua is even more so and being thinner presented a greater challenge I wanted to master. The Bezel had to be made ‘just right’ to ensure a tight but ‘right’ fit which ended successfully.
