Having spent several days completing a traditional pen and ink study of a pineapple I was a little daunted by the prospect of adding colour in case of any mistakes. A friend suggested that my husband photograph it for me before I painted it so I would always have a copy. From that suggestion the idea of these pop-art inspired hand coloured prints developed.
