I often work in series and by chance I found myself in 2014, 2015 and 2017 making a series of tiny prints. The 2015 series, of which this is one, are all collagraphs, made on a variety of papers, inked up in multiple layers and in different colours so that each image is unique.
The plates used were originally samples of mount board in various colours. They were made using a variety of materials including tile cement, acrylic terxture paste and papers of various types. They were used singly and in combinations, some with a single colour, some with several colours and passed through the press several times.

This abstract collagraph print, is no 9 from a series called Tiny 2015. It is printed on Somerset paper mainly in Cadmium Yellow and Cobalt Violet with little flecks of green.
By chance I found myself in 2014, 2015 and 2017 making a series of tiny prints. The 2015 series, of which this is one, are all collagraphs, made on a variety of papers, inked up in multiple layers and in different colours so that each image is unique. The texture comes from acrylic texture paste applied to a card plate and then sealed with varnish.
The print is about 60mm (2.5") square and is printed on Somerset printing paper about 7.5" x 5.5" (190mm x 140mm) The image shown on your screen is probably larger than the physical print so allowing you to see the rich physical texture and subtle shading possible with this technique.
This is a single one of a kind print. The other images show various frames and mounts (software generated) for illustration, but no frame or mount is included in the price. If you would like me to arrange mounting and/or framing please get in touch before ordering.
