I will endeavour to post within 24 hours, but items may still take a long time to reach you due to the pressure under which the Post Office is working. Unfortunately I will no longer be able to send items to Northern Ireland.
Actual colours may vary. This is due to the fact that every computer monitor has a different capability to display colours and that everyone sees these colours differently. Therefore I cannot guarantee that the colour you see accurately portrays the true colour of the product.
I discovered Kanzashi on the internet some years ago, and thoroughly enjoyed using my cotton scraps left from making pinnies to create flowers. Wondering what to do with the results I settled on headbands, hairbands and hair slides. I have sold many at Craft Fairs. I thought I'd see what happens on Folksy!

Kanzashi is a lovely Japanese art form, rather like origami, but done with fabric, generally silk. I have adapted it somewhat to make flowers from other fabrics, in this case crystal organza, which I attach to stretchy headbands. Instead of stitching the flower to the band, this time I have pinned it, so the Kanzashi can be used on other items, such as a handbag, hat or coat. The headband is bright yellow, the flower is champagne with a silver-coloured metallic thread interwoven, and there is a clear brown glass bead in the centre. The headband is 3" wide, 16" un-stretched and up to 22" stretched.
