My first batch of bobbin needle cases sold so well, I thought I'd offer a few more.
These little beauties stand about 2 1/2" / 65mm high and about 1 1/2" / 40mm diameter. I made them to take needles up to 2" long, so the proportions are a bit different from a standard cotton reel. However, I can adjust the height before I send one off if you wish. The lids are a push fit.
I made the needle cases from a log of ash that came, a few years ago, from a fallen branch just up the lane . I do like to see knots in some of the things I make as they often add interest and I often seek out such characterful wood. One of these has a (smooth) knot but tell me if you'd prefer one without.The pictures show all three, but of course the price is for one. My postage charge allows for 'signed for' service
