Moon Cufflinks
Handmade in sterling and fine silver.
The full moon discs measure 18mm wide and are fine silver (99% pure silver). This allows me to melt the surface to create ripples and a crater-like surface to the metal. This is then oxidised/ blackened to give the illusion of shadows
Due to the process in which I make these, each moon will differ slightly in textures, from each other and the ones photographed.
The cufflink fittings are a traditional bar type and are sterling silver (925 silver).

n.b. oxidisation is a surface finish used to blacken silver. It will last better if it does not come into contact with chemicals or abrasives, so avoid silver cleaning solutions!
