I have reopened my shop with items that can be posted through a letterbox and I can buy postage online.
I am drawn to materials and techniques which flow to give beautiful colour transitions, textures, layers and organic shapes. I love to become absorbed in the unexpected and the endless possibilities of the process to create pieces which spark pleasure and joy.
I was particularly inspired to paint this flower tile by all the Spring flowers blooming in our garden.

Full description
I created this original flower painting using alcohol inks on a ceramic tile. I used yellow, shades of green and copper inks to paint this flower using an air brush to move the ink to form the petals The bright colour gives a real feel of Spring. I love painting with alcohol inks as they move and blend so beautifully, and their unpredictability means you never know exactly where the painting will take you.
This hand painted tile would look lovely in a bedroom, living room or dining room. It is sealed with acrylic varnish and comes with a hanging loop attached. This tile art would be a perfect gift for a birthday, new home or wedding.
Dimensions; 15cmx15cm
As with all artwork avoid displaying in direct sunlight.
