This is a 100% Corriedale 4ply sock yarn is a no nylon high twist sock yarn ( great durability & non superwash ) that is naturally hand dyed in the Yorkshire Dales, the yarn is locally spun just down the valley from me & is a Worstead spun yarn .

This yarn is a hand dyed with natural dyes and is a bright fresh orange coral colour.

I only use natural dyes to dye yarn with, in both plant form & extract as well as minerals & insect ( e.g.Cochineal and Lac which are both scale insects & have been used traditionally for hundreds of years) I usually use Alum & Cream of Tartar to modify my yarn .

Weight :100g skein

Approx 400mts/437yds , 4ply, Needles size:2.5 mm-3.5 mm

Dye Used: Madder

To care for your yarn I would suggest that you always gently hand wash it in cool water with a gentle wool soap ( I like to use a no rinse wool wash )
