I have taken the last few months off from woodturning to concentrate on my botanical water colour work a few examples of which you can view on my Instagram account. However, I have picked up the chisels again and will be adding new items and old favourites. The latest additions are two attractive sycamore drinks trays but more items to come.
This pretty trinket box was custom made. I wanted the piercing in the lid to be stylised and enhance the overall look.

Full description
This personalised trinket box was turned in spalted beech. The lid has been pierced with stylised letter Fs and has been made for Freya. I hope she likes it. The finish is burnished and waxed.
