Full description
This cute little pendant features an 8mm round Chrysocolla bead - a beautiful blue-green coloured stone. I've created a frame using thicker wire with a hammered swirl at the end of the wire above the bead. I've then used finer wire to weave loops through this swirl & around the bead, creating a beautiful & interesting small pendant which is completely unique!
The finished piece has been oxidised to bring out the detail in the weave & I have then polished it - giving a gorgeous antiqued copper colour which complements the Chrysocolla perfectly. The bead is more blue on one side & more green on the other, with metallic flecks all over. It can be spun around so you can choose which side to have showing.
The pendant comes with a 2mm thick waxed black cotton cord, complete with handmade fastenings. The cord length is approx. 40cm but I can supply a different length if required - please let me know your preferred length via the 'choose options' button.
The pendant itself measures approx. 3cm long from top of bail & 1.5cm across. It will be posted out first class, in a 100% recycled (& reusable!) gift box, within a recycled polythene bag.
