Incorporating eco-friendly elements into my work is important and includes the option of synthetic gemstones such as these Lab Rubies.
A lab gemstone is a stone 'grown' in a lab rather than the earth. They have the same geological makeup as genuine stones but none of the faults. This means they have amazing clarity and colour, but at a much lower price point than the authentic stones.

Lab Ruby Gemstone Earrings. Hot pink lab Rubies set into a surround of Sterling Silver. the gemstone mount has a serrated zigzag edge to contrast against the smooth surface of the round cabochon stone.
The stone used is a lab Ruby - a synthetic gemstone that is made by 'growing' the gemstone in a lab using the same way that it is grown in the ground. The results are a flawless stone, rich in colour with the same characteristics as a genuine Ruby, but at a fraction of the price and with an unblemished appearance.
