A lab gemstone is a stone 'grown' in a lab rather than the earth. They have the same geological makeup as genuine stones but none of the faults. This means they have amazing clarity and colour, but at a much lower price point than the authentic stones.

Full description
A bright blue imitation sapphire carefully set by hand onto a band of Sterling Silver. The stone is a round cabochon cut measuring 5mm in a beautiful clear cobalt blue. The ring is simple in design on a fully round band 1.5mm diameter. The setting has a zig zag edge which gives it a nice detail.
Lab gemstones are artificially created gemstones created in a lab. They share the same structure of the natural versions but without the imperfections as the lab conditions are more stable.
