Copper coaster, Arts and Crafts style, with bird and branch design.
The design of a bird or a dove has been embossed in the repousse method, popular with the Arts and Crafts Movement, using metal tools. The copper design has been polished and lacquered and mounted on a light turquoise coloured foil background. It has then been placed in an 85mm round acrylic display case to create a special coaster or wall decoration.
