Living on the beautiful Isle of Wight has been my main inspiration for creating this aceo.
Wanting to keep the image simple, I decided to work in a brown ink.
Scratching out the detail with the pen nib and using a small brush to add the ink as a slight wash, to the tower and the surrounding trees. The blue really helps to lift the image off the paper, and hopefully highlights the tower itself.
I have previously listed one for Bembridge Windmill and still have another couple to add to the collection!

Full description
Appley Tower Ryde.
I created this aceo using dip pen and ink with a watercolour wash on 300gsm watercolour paper. It has been signed on the reverse.
I decided to use Prussian Blue in the wash for the sky, since Appley Tower always looks at its best during bright days and blue skies.
The Aceo measures 2.5" x 3.5" and will be packaged in a protective clear sleeve.
The item will be sent to you in a reinforced envelope and posted 1st class within 3 days of receiving payment.
