ve called it "Powder Monkey" its been a bit of a labour of love realising this design to its completion, and I have ruined a few hats in the process of pushing my materials to their descructive boundaries.

I burned holes all along the rim and threaded it with a random pattern of string detail,
along the way I added wooden beads, coins and old bronze "lucky" trimmings, a little handpainted skull which ends in a real Amethyst polished stone. At both left and right sides of the hat I fixed a authentic crossbones detail in real bones which I boiled up and stripped over several hours to achieve the bleached bone look. They are Pousson bones.

I added a little authentic scorching here and there and finished the hat with black Ostrich and Pheasant tail feathers. I hope you love this as much as I do.
