I originally made pinnies for my own children, now in their forties. I cannot resist attractive cotton fabrics for kids! Over the years I have made and sold hundreds of little aprons, and quite a large number of rather bigger ones!

This is a lovely bright kingfisher cotton apron which will fit an older child, from about 8 to a small adult. (The girl in the picture, wearing a different pinny of the same size, is thirteen years old.) It depicts cheerful little Indians and various cartoon features of their lives. I have made it of a good quality machine washable cotton, with acrylic webbing straps. It measures approximately 27" (70cm.) from neck to hem, and 18" (46cm.) at the widest point,
