I love the designs of William Morris, and the work of other arts and crafts movement designers. I wanted to make some textile products using designs from this period and found the perfect fabrics with a UK based textile printer. I felt this particularly design would work well on pots and bags due to the horizontal repeat pattern, where as other designs suit other products.
I have a few pot plants myself sitting on shelves and wanted to see if I could make their plain pots a bit more interesting .. hence the fabric pots were created..

Full description
I have both designed and made a fabric pot using a William Morris blue and cream printed fabric. The print features rabbits, birds and foliage. The textile pot has many uses, i.e. as a plant pot ( pop a potted plant inside) or fill with hair accessories or beauty products and place on a dressing table or tidily fill with bathroom products for bathroom storage.
Product details:
The plant pot is approximately 6 inches diameter and 7 inches high ( when not folded)
The fabric pot can be folded to create a cuff and adjust to the height desired. Pictures show fold at 1 inch.
The fabric pot features a cream fabric inside for contrast .
A wooden base is inserted to provide a stable base
The printed fabric is not waterproof and if placing a living plant inside recommend using a pot and saucer.
This is not a ceramic or china pot.
The item will arrive flat packed through the post and will require re shaping upon arrival
My pots are made from fabric. They are not intended for soil to be placed directly in them.
The fabric pot is made in a smoke free environment. Plant not included.
