I started making socks as i found it hard to find good quality socks with no seams in the toe. The first pair was fro a vintage pattern from my Granny and when everyone in the family saw them, they all wanted a pair and my market got bigger and bigger. Now when I pop to the shop in the village, I look down at everyone's feet and invariable I will see a pair of socks that I have made. A quality sock from fun yarn !
These socks remind me of the colours in african beadwork, lovely childhood memories !!

Handmade Wool Socks
SIZE: 4-6 UK, 6-8 US, 36-38 EURO
COLOUR: Multicoloured stripe
YARN: 75% Superwash wool, 25% Polyamide
WASHING: Hand wash or 30 degree machine wool wash
This yarn is such fun to knit as you never know quite how the stripes are going to come out. Great wool socks and the polyamide makes them a little bit tougher.
Great all rounder socks and long enough in the ankle to wear work boots !!
On my little local market stall, so many people have come back to buy a second, third and fourth pair of these !!
