Sweet Heart linocut Valentines card with a hand printed detachable hanging wooden heart ornament.

The card is left blank inside for your own heart felt message.

The hanging heart ornament is printed with my original linocut sweet pattern in a bright candy pink on both sides. A turquoise ribbon attaches it to the card by being threaded through a small gap on the front of the card and is lightly secured with a piece of tape on the inside. The card can be displayed with the wooden heart attached, or the ornament can be removed and hung elsewhere, revealing a few red love heart printed beneath (so you aren't left with a blank space on your card).

Card measures 6" x 4" (15cm x 10cm)
Heart measures 3" x 3" (7.5cm x 7.5cm)
Matching envelope with small heart detail to front and back.

Printed on 100% recycled Kraft card, the card and envelope are also recyclable, and the protective 'cellophane' envelope that they come in is actually made from corn starch and is compostable too.

The wooden heart is made from sustainably sourced birch wood from Finland and is beautifully smooth.

The heart has been lightly varnished with a clear matt spray to protect it but please note this is only suitable for indoor use and please avoid getting it wet.

I love creating patterns and this was so much fun to make. I like the idea of having a keep sake attached to the card that can be removed and kept and I hope it will make someone smile whenever they see it, remembering that they are someones sweet heart.
