Wooden brooch in the style of a cat, a lovely gift for cat owners.
This brooch started life as an unloved pallet dumped outside and left. It has been carefully cut by hand and sanded down. Because this is real solid wood, each one is unique, I can never make two the same which is the magic of using solid wood.
The finer details have been burned into the wood, the brooch is varnished with two types of varnish to add colour and detail.I have added silver thread whiskers and a cute pink felt heart nose to add colour and character to this unique upcycled cat badge.
Finally the metal brooch pin is glued in place and brown felt added to neaten.
