I love to draw, and I love to draw quickly! The less deliberating over an image, the cleaner the message and if I hesitate and think for too long, the doubt creeps in and I correct the line, then I rub it out - then it's lost its essence!
SO - I am learning to be direct and essential. The OK print was the first time I put my fresh quick ideas into action - I did try drawing a few OK hands, and each was drawn in one go in a matter of seconds ..I chose the best looking one and then exposed it onto a photo-emulsion screen for printing.
I love the idea that the screen printing process can be this direct, and captures a moment of freshness - and that's kind of OK! OK?!

Remember it's OK!
We made this fluid OK hand as a print, a badge, a card and a shopping bag - and we've loved seeing it pop up around the place in studios, homes, on holiday - for presents.
It is a one colour screen print (unframed) (happens to fit an IKEA frame)
30cm x 40cm
We always print on 300gsm Somerset Satin Paper - which is then signed and numbered (edition is limited to 50)
Wrapped in acid free tissue, delivered in board backed envelope
