My mother and I have amassed knitting patterns, sewing patterns and vintage buttons into quite the impressive collection. Dozens of knitting patterns, hundreds of sewing patterns and thousands of buttons have all been sorted, cateqorised and filed and are now available to you. It’s a daunting task, to get them listed here, but they need new homes. I hope you enjoy the selections.

Good Investments,
The pattern is for a knitted Unisex gilet, waistcoat, sleeveless cardigan. It has lines of fancy cabling which gives a textured look to this versatile cap-sleeved waistcoat. The Y shaped cable is just enough embellishment, not much else is needed. There are two front pockets (also with the Y cabled pattern) but these are optional. A unisex pattern just right for either a little extra warmth under your jacket or coat, or as a stylish over jacket as shown in the photo.
Chest: 32 - 42in, 81 - 107cm
This is a paper knitting pattern from Patons, dated 1978, it is not a PDF.

I do not carry wool in my shop, neither do I have any connections to anyone who could provide the wool. This pattern is over 30 years old but, like any pattern (old or new) you can choose your own wools to use, just be sure to check the tension advised in the pattern. If you're unsure, take the pattern to a yarn shop, or haberdashery shop and ask their advice - they will be able to help you.
