I have always loved wood and working with my hands so when I found a pile of scaffold boards in the local reclamation yard I decided to make a table, having so many good comments from family and visitors I decided to make another and so Small Ridge at Home was born.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.

Full description
This beautiful unique shoe rack has been handmade using reclaimed scaffold planks and steel pole from Hoar Cross in Derbyshire, it has been stained in light oak which pulls out all of the natural details in the knots and wood grains, a protective layer of varnish has then been applied which gives it a nice silky shine.
You will see some signs of its previous commercial life as a scaffold board including nail holes, dents and cracks which give it such a one off and preloved feel, on this example you can see the brand 'ACTAVO' which has been branded into the wood, if I use any wood which has branding into it I will always try my best to have these on show but this may not always be possible.
