Full description
This is a 100% Bluefaced Leicester Super wash 4 ply no nylon high twist sock yarn, naturally hand dyed in the Yorkshire Dales , the yarn is locally spun just down the valley from me and is a Worstead spun yarn .
This yarn bundle of 6 mini skeins is a hand dyed with natural dyes , in a range of soft pastel colours that compliment one another beautifully. They would be great for striped socks or doing different colour sock cuff, heals and toes.
I only use natural dyes to dye yarn with, in both plant form and extract as well as minerals and insect ( e.g. Cochineal and Lac which are both scale insects which have been used traditionally for hundreds of years ) . I usually use Alum & Cream of Tartar to mordant my yarn .

Approx 420mts / 459 yds in total ( approx 70 mts per skein )
Needles size: 2.5 mm to 3.5 mm
Dye Used : Cochineal, Madder, Greeweed Extract, Brazilwood & chalk modifier, Alder Buckthorn Bark.
To care for your yarn I would suggest that you always gently hand wash it in cool water with a gentle wool soap ( Inlike to use a no rinse wool wash )
