A challenge for myself to use a nice piece of wood to make something a bit different. First time I have turned a captive ring, the wall of the goblet is fantastically thin at the top. The markings in the grain are almost iridescent.

Indian Silver Oak Goblet with Captive ring. 164mm high x 45mm. Polished finish
The shape of this goblet much like a wine glass with a groove V detail at the base of the cup and a slight step in the base really shows off the checked/flecked nature of the Silver oak, it also has a captive ring.
Designed by Robert Gibbs in my home workshop in Swindon
