I enjoy making this size box as it has a substantial feel to it, whilst being quite compact. The shape and size is familiar to my style of boxes. I use this size of box as a canvas upon which to try out different colours and textures of wood.

Full description
A stylish watch box designed to hold two watches and accessories such as cufflinks or other men's items.
The handmade wooden box is veneered with an chocolatey figured Black Walnut burr. The edges are Walnut and inlaid with purple dyed Sycamore lines.
The box comes with two watch cushions and a tray. The inside is fully lined with a Purple Heart leather.
A brass sliding catch and brass hinges are also fitted.
The box is finished with lacquer giving a low sheen.
Watch and jewellery are not included.
A similar box can be made and customised in about 4-6 weeks.
