All of our designs start life in a little studio space looking out through trees towards the sea in West Cornwall. The process often ends up being collaborative, with two little ones with artistic streaks, full of ideas and opinions! ("Why haven't you done a paint splats mug yet?" "Can we change the shop name to 'Open Wave'?") And we can never get away from the ever changing inspiration outside our window, or the rich artistic heritage of the place where we live.
We hand make the majority of our products and when we need specific print or technical expertise (laser etching for our mugs, for example) we work with carefully selected makers and companies in Cornwall, the South West and other parts of the UK. Our fabrics are printed used eco-friendly reactive dyes and we use non-toxic, water-based inks when screen and lino-printing. Our packaging is made from natural, recycled and recyclable materials.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.

A set of three A6 sized notebooks/sketchbooks featuring our clouds, seagulls and paint illustrations.
Perfect for notes, scribbles, drawings, sketches, to-do lists etc. – these little books are the ideal size to tuck into a bag or pocket and to have on hand the moment inspiration strikes!
Each book is filled with a different inner paper – plain paper inside the paint print book, lined paper inside the seagulls print book and a dotted paper inside the clouds print book (please see photographs).
