All of our designs start life in a little studio space looking out through trees towards the sea in West Cornwall. The process often ends up being collaborative, with two little ones with artistic streaks, full of ideas and opinions! ("Why haven't you done a paint splats mug yet?" "Can we change the shop name to 'Open Wave'?") And we can never get away from the ever changing inspiration outside our window, or the rich artistic heritage of the place where we live.
We hand make the majority of our products and when we need specific print or technical expertise (laser etching for our mugs, for example) we work with carefully selected makers and companies in Cornwall, the South West and other parts of the UK. Our fabrics are printed used eco-friendly reactive dyes and we use non-toxic, water-based inks when screen and lino-printing. Our packaging is made from natural, recycled and recyclable materials.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.

Handmade 'Porthmeor' bag – sea print/denim with mustard yellow leather straps
Our sea print design is teamed with a mid-blue washed denim for the base and reverse side of the bag. Lined with navy blue cotton with three interior pockets – two large and one small. The small pocket features our lighthouse lino print and is the ideal size for a mobile phone, keys, or any small item that you need to have easily to hand.
Available with a choice of mustard yellow or mid grey straps (please see separate listing for grey strap version).
– Strap length: approx. 62cm.
– Bag size: approx. 37cm wide x 38cm high (65cm including straps) 10cm deep.
– Internal pockets: two large, one small.
– Lino print detail to small interior pocket.
– 100% cotton fabric printed with eco-friendly inks; denim; cotton lining; handcut leather straps; metal rivets.
