How To Order

Ordering your bespoke portrait is easy.
Once you have decided on the portrait size in the drop down box go through and complete your order.
You can either pay in full or choose to make a commission deposit and pay the balance upon completion, please note that deposits cannot be refunded.
Then contact me via Folksy & send a selection of clear, well lit photographs of your pet. Outdoor, natural daylight photo's work best as they will accurately show me details such as your pet's colours and markings etc. For group portraits I can work from several photo's so don't worry if you don't have a picture of all the subjects together.
At this stage we can also discuss which photograph would work best for your commission, capturing your pet's character and personality.
Once I have those details, I will produce a sketch of your pet and digitally send a scanned copy, for you to approve. If you are happy with the outline sketch and no alterations are required I will take your commission through to the painting stage and complete your portrait.
Once I begin to paint, the nature of watercolour makes it difficult to make charges.
If alterations are required they can be made at the sketch stage and then once you are happy with your portrait it will move to the painting stage and completion.
If you have paid a commission deposit I will contact you upon your portrait's completion, and pop a listing for you in my shop for the remaining balance.
