My inspiration for knitting this cushion comes from the beautiful, blue colour of the yarn. It reminded me of the sea and when looking through a knitting book I found this stitch called lobster claw which represents the bounty of the sea.

Made with 100% pure new British Aran wool from the New Lanark woollen mills this blue cushion features row upon row of hand knitted lobster claw cable stitches. Four handmade, crocheted buttons in matching yarn adorn the back (or front) of this cushion.
This cushion took approximately 24 hours to make (spread over several weeks) and used around 300gms of yarn.
- Size: to fit a cushion pad 41cm x 41cm
- Cover: 100% pure new British Aran wool; buttons filled with wool off cuts.

Care instructions : Cool handwash. Dry flat away from heat. Do not iron.
