Full description
I have cut out a half moon shaped piece of brass 35mm /1.5 inches in diameter and carefully made copper rivets in the corners to attach it a sterling silver chain . The chain has a fine link and I have put a copper ring into it , the size of a penny on one side, 30mm/ 1.25 inches from the brass piece and a copper disc on the other side .
I have made the clasp from copper wire, to link all the elements of the necklace visually. The clasp is designed to make it easier to put the necklace on. All the copper parts have all gained a darker red tones due to a process using heat.
The length of the chain , including the length of the brass arc and clasp is 48mm/ nearly 19 inches inches long which includes the clasp. It hangs mid neck (see photo 3)
Posted first class in a cardboard gift box with black velvet insert and tied with ribbon ready to give .
