A beautiful White Crystal Opal Cabochon, from Lightening Ridge, Australia, ready for jewellery designers to create something stunning.
This is a really lovely quality little stone.
A lovely white Crystal opal with lots of green, blue and yellow as well. A real rainbow of colour play within this gemstone. Dependant on how the designer backs this item, more or less colour play will show. I leave that in the hands of the professionals, but think it would make a fantastic focal centre point in a pendant or ring perhaps.
Photos were taken in natural light, however, the colour play still is far better in the hand. Opals are so difficult to photograph successfully.
I have attempted to take many photos so please review all photographs, but if you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask.
Approximate measurements: the length is approx 9.5mms, the width at its widest point is approx 7mms and the depth is approx 3 to 3.5mms, measurements taken at its widest and thickest points.
