About Harris Tweed:
This is a very special fabric unique to the UK and protected by legislation. It has to be:
"Handwoven by the islanders at their homes in the Outer Hebrides, finished in the Outer Hebrides, and made from pure virgin wool dyed and spun in the Outer Hebrides."
The Act ensures that all cloth certified with the Harris Tweed Orb symbol complies with this definition and is genuine Harris Tweed, the world’s only commercially produced handwoven tweed.

Monochrome Christmas tree decoration handmade from Harris tweed hand-woven fabric.
I have created this stunning monochrome bauble with four segments of fabric, alternating black and white herringbone with black and white tartan. Each shaped piece is hand-stitched together to make the 3D shape. At the join of each segment is a sparkling line of beaded decoration, also hand-stitched into place. It is approx. 7.5cm in diameter and comes complete with a silver satin ribbon hanging loop. A small "Orb" label, your guarantee of genuine Harris tweed, is proudly displayed.
This special heirloom bauble is packed in an individual box, which can be re-used to store it for year after year. To get your lovely purchase to you quickly and safely I use Royal Mail tracked services. Save on postage for two or more items bought from my shop at the same time.
