Sky Blue Rose! A very lovely super chunky beanie or slouchy crocheted hat, in James C Brett Rustic Chunky Yarn.
The Variegated sky Blue yarn for this crocheted hat is wonderfully soft and is perfect shade for those who Muted light blue tones but with a hint of yellow and cream adding some additional interest and with the soft crocheted rose added to the side.
I do not work from patterns, everything I create is from my own imagination and totally unique.
This lovely hat is washable with care in cool water, but I would suggest handwashing and shaping whilst damp. The yarn is a blend of 10% wool, 82% acrylic and 8% viscose.
The slouchy, or beanie is a classic style. Crocheted on a very large hook to give a loose, chunky stitch and in a continuous line, starting in the centre at the top, so there are no seams or joins in the body of the hat, except where the soft rose is added. The approximate measurements for the hat is that it has a diameter of approx 25cms, with an opening diameter of approx 23cms when the yarn is relaxed. Can be worn with or without a tunover edge.
I thoroughly enjoy creating useful and unusual items with yarn. Knitting and crochet are so relaxing! This lovely olive green hat will go with so many outfits, perfect for the autumn & winter seasons & any one who loves unique & bespoke items.
