Full description
This versatile butterfly necklace is made from sheet aluminium which I have dyed in a range of rainbow brights, sealing the colour in to the metal to make it permanent. I have cut out each butterfly by hand using a piercing saw and filed and domed them so that they catch the light. Each butterfly measures 24mm across and they are connected using sterling silver jump rings. Finally, I have attached a sterling silver chain. The whole necklace measures 20" and can be extended to 21" using the extension chain. It is designed to sit comfortably around the collar bone area.
