Full description
Hand knitted to my own pattern, a strawberry cream tart. Measuring approximately 11cms in diameter and 5cms deep ( with the strawberry), the "pastry" case is filled with a strawberry cream filling, topped off with a hulled strawberry and drizzled with chocolate sauce. I have used dimensional fabric paint for the sauce.There is a neoprene base firmly stitched into the bottom piece, in order for it to sit flat and look more realistic.
Ideal for a kitchen, dining room display. (I made mine to display on my vintage china)
Also ideal for role play games, drama props, as a pin cushion in your craft/sewing room, or as a gift for someone. Not really suitable for young children, but it is filled with safety filling, and washable. A very gentle hand wash is advised, and then gently mould back into shape.
