This beautiful solid oak desk was lovingly handmade in my Kent workshop; care has been taken in creating this sturdy item into the finished product shown. The Oak was cut to size, the desktop's edges are all rounded off then the oak is sanded repeatedly using progressively finer sandpaper to give a pleasingly tactile feel. 6 separate coats of Ronseal Anti Bacterial Worktop Satin Oil finish were then applied (with light sanding between coats) to fully nourish the oak, enhancing the wood's natural beauty and providing some protection during use. The hairpin legs were selected for this desk as, not only, are they incredibly strong but also a wonderfully simple design that does not detract from the beauty of the wood.

In summary, this simply designed desk would be a wonderful addition to any home.

Assembly instructions:
