The inspiration behind this illustration was mainly influenced by my love of stories and the relationships between people and animals. Fairy tale moments where connections are made between people, animals, nature and other creatures are always very poignant to me.
I tried to create the design of this piece to further represent stories and the telling of them, by breaking the image down into separate orbs/bubbles and telling the story of the bird's journey.
