These were originally comissioned by a regular customer who disliked the Americanisation of Halloween. The lanterns have been refined since the original but still retain the element of fun.

Halloween is on the way! These hand thrown and carved lanterns represent the traditional British lantern that used to be carved from swedes or turnips (depending on what part of the UK you come from) before we adopted the American version of a carved pumpkin. Each lantern has an individual expression so they have been listed separately so you can choose the one you want. It may even look like someone you know. The lantern is around 7"/17.5cm tall and has an opening in the back so you can place a nightlight candle inside. Caution: This product will get hot when the candle is in use.
