Full description
This tiny ladybird pin/brooch is made in brass using hand cut strips of metal that are then formed and soldered individually onto a base, then each section is painstakingly filled with hand mixed coloured resin that is polished to a shiny finish.
The resin used in this piece is slightly metallic and sparkly
She measures just 2cms tall, approx 1.5cms wide and 0.5cms deep.

It has a sterling silver pin on the back and is secured with a butterfly squeeze clasp.
This piece can be customised to your choice of colours and can also be made as a pendant.
The piece is then finished with an antique black patina that will wear over time giving the piece a beautiful antiqued finish. The spots and the eyes are made in sterling silver that is then oxidised to a black finish.
The edges are polished to reveal the shiny metal underneath.
This piece is made to order and due to the curing time of the resin the lead time is 21 days but I aim to get it finished sooner than that.
