Renewable and sustainable - British wool is the ultimate in eco-friendly slow fashion material.
I love working with the many different wools produced here from British breeds of sheep. The Wensleydale is from Yorkshire; it has long shiny, crinkly wool that looks like dreadlocks. The Blue-faced Leicester looks down it's long roman nose at you. It is the skin which is dark blue/grey colour - the wool is white and curly, and one of the softest in the UK.

Here' s a pretty beanie for the colder weather. I have hand-knit this women's beanie from a blend of two of the softest British wools: Wensleydale and Blue-faced Leicester. It has a simple stripe design in beige, cream and light blue. The stretchy ribbed welt can be turned up to keep your ears warm or down for a slouchy style. The sweet little "Roses Workshop" brand label is laser etched faux leather.
As usual I hand-knit using needles "in-the-round" so there are no ugly or uncomfortable seams. To fit average adult head size 55-60cm and slightly stretchy for a comfortable fit. Looking for a slightly different size or colour - custom orders are welcome.
This gorgeous hat will be wrapped in tissue and tied up with a ribbon, ready for giving or as a treat for yourself. To get your lovely purchase to you quickly and safely I use Royal Mail tracked services. The postage charge shown is for the whole parcel - save on postage when buying two or more items from my shop at the same time.
