Full description
This wren has been sculpted from wool fibres using a needle felting technique. A core wool base has been covered in corriedale woollen fibres and sculpted into shape using a barbed felting needle. The wren has wired feet. He is approximately life-size measuring 12cm (4.75") long x 7cm (2.75") tall.
Pop him on the mantlepiece or perch him in a pot plant, the bird is lightweight and so will happily perch almost anywhere. The bird will stand happily on his own with his feet flat although the feet can be gently bent to perch on a log if desired. In this case I would recommend a small piece of blue tac or glue under the feet to hold him in place. A hanging thread could easily be added.
