I have a large collection of vintage linens, laces and fabrics - some are no longer fit for their original purpose, so I decided to give them a new life as treasured keepsake book covers. Each one is different, created individually, a piece of usable textile art.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
This lovely keepsake notebook cover has been handmade from a collage of floral fabrics and vintage lace, trimmed with pearly buttons and printed words - 'Dream' on the front and 'Love' on the back. A length of green grosgrain ribbon has been stitched along the spine and a narrow satin ribbon forms an attached bookmark. The back features more vintage lace and collaged fabrics.
The cover is softly padded and lined with plain cream calico fabric.
It can be purchased with either a hardback A5 lined notebook, or a hardback A5 sketchbook containing 92 pages (46 sheets) of 140gsm acid-free cartridge paper. The sketchbooks are made in Britain using British paper and are renowned for their high quality. Please select your preferred choice when ordering.
Whichever book you choose, it can be easily replaced with a new one when needed.
This original cover is a one-of-a-kind piece, totally unique, and would make an ideal gift.
The cover measures approx 6.25 x 9 inches (16.5 x 23 cm) closed, 13 x 9 inches (33 x 23 cm) opened flat. The sketchbook shown measures 6 x 8.5 x 0.6 inches (15.3 x 21.6 x 1.4 cm) and fits snugly.
